Knowing Your Kingdom Purpose
People make finding their purpose complicated. It is actually something that can be summed up in one word at its essence.
Here’s mine: Inspire.
Usually your purpose can be put into one sentence that describes what you generally feel called to do every day.
Here’s mine: Inspire others to do their God best for God.
That’s pretty simple but your discovery of that purpose may take a little time. You may need some tools to get you there such as taking some assessments, gathering prophetic words/images/acts and uncovering destiny Bible words before that is formed.
Everybody has a purpose given by God. I’m talking about the big picture and not the little assignments along the way. Those will change with various seasons, promotions and transitions. What is your overarching purpose?
I found my purpose after a visit to the ER for asthma. Talk about God using all things for good. During my recovery, I realized that I was the lungs in the body of Christ. I was meant to inspire others. I am to breathe life onto others. This can be done in many ways but inspiration symbolizes the prophetic. Yep, prophecy has always been my top gift. It overshadows all the other gifts in my mix.
It is not always helpful to find your people group, but I prayed about mine while preparing for my adult baptism. As I prayed, I got three of them and they are: leaders, artists and intellectuals. I was surprised by the intellectuals but later God showed me how it worked.
Much later I was given prophetic words such as:
Nobody ever told me about this but I discovered that I have a book anointing. Everywhere I go I have discussions with people about the book I was currently reading and it’s usually a Christian book.
I have had deep and long discussions with people in the bookstore, a coffee shop or at a restaurant. People have asked me what I am reading even before cell phones were the rage. I want to point out that one of my strengths in the Strengthfinder assessment is relator. This means I like to have deep relationships with people.
My book anointing includes a ministry to ‘coming of age’ girls who are beginning to have an interest in dating. In my role as the fun aunt, I have them read the ‘Jane books’ as a call them. To make it fun there are movies to watch and a time to discuss the character's choices.
These are four books by Jane Austin and the book called Jane Eyre. Essentially, these books reveal the types of challenges women have in deciding on their future mate. One of my assignments is to have relationships with young girls so as that get older they might come to me for advice – after all, I am the fun aunt and not the authoritarian. You know - someone you can talk to when you feel that your parents don’t understand you.
I once was part of a creating a class called Discovery with a team called Corps Discovery. We assisted Christians to row down the river into their destiny. There’s a book about Sacajawea called Stone Heart where she writes in her journal the highlights of what happens in her journey. Both Lewis and Clark have their journals as well.
There are different ways to process this discover and therefore different kinds of journals and they can be an art journal or a writer’s journal. There are different artistic ways to explore your destiny. You may create a banner of identity or a vision board.
Someone may discover their destiny through prophetic dance given to them by another or even a prophetic act (as my friends called it prophetic story). You may find it while writing poetry or a song for yourself or another.
Prophetic Arts Streams is just a place to find your purpose and destiny through the arts or in the arts. Either way, me and my team will help you as you launch your boat into the river of the Holy Spirit.
If you are an apostle than you can try our Bezalel Blueprint class. If you are an artist then you can take the various specific artistic anointing classes.

Much later I was given prophetic words such as:
- I would give words to governmental figures.
- I had a combination of words that added up to: I would have a ministry of the prophetic arts that included art, writing, music, dance and drama.
